# Referral Program ### **Referrals** The Kwenta Referral program is a growth tool which allows for a fully on-chain system of NFTs to govern the distribution of rewards to affiliates. The affiliate program has been designed and built from the ground up. The current fully onchain referral program uses the Optimism network, and you **must have ETH on Optimism** to participate. In the future, Kwenta may migrate to an offchain referral program or provide another upgrade, but please be aware of the Optimism requirement at this time. Once an NFT is minted on Optimism, some rewards such as points will be earned on any network. ## Rewards The Kwenta referral program currently offers users 2 types of rewards for participation. #### $OP Token Rewards Traders who mint a Boost NFT and trade on Optimism will earn a 30% fee rebate for trades on Optimism v2. The address which referred each trader also earns 30% of their fees as a rebate, allowing both the trader and affiliate to earn liquid rewards. $OP rewards are issued on a **first come, first serve** basis, and will end when all $OP tokens have been distributed.
